At Apothecary By Design, on January 28, 2014 at 6:30pm, Lindy Grigel MHP, PA-C, CCH of Fal River Health Center will teach creative approaches to health enhancing nutritional choices, restorative sleep hygiene and advantageous use of technology. Homeopathy and alternative therapies will also be discussed. A mandala concept of Integrative Medicine will link the sociological and physical impact of these topics. Join us to explore scientific studies, which show how deficits in nutrition and sleep, as well as overuse of digital media, impair the brain’s executive control system. (01/07)

Freeport Community Library - December Events:

Star Myths and Legends Wednesday, January 15 at 6:00pm at The Freeport Community Library. Northern Stars’ inflatable traveling planetarium is coming to the library. Learn the stories behind the constellations we see and how to spot them in the night sky. This will be a fun evening so come in out of the cold for a night of stargazing at the library. Sign-up at the library.Space is limited to sixty people.
