Holistic Treatment of Common Childhood Ailments: An Evening for Parents: Please join Ashwood’s school physician, Daniel Einstein, MD on Tuesday, May 14 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. for a talk on holistic therapies for common childhood illnesses, including colds, sleep disturbances, stomach troubles, allergies and ADHD. Dr. Einstein will also give a brief overview of Rudolf Steiner’s approach to medical care—known as anthroposophic medicine—especially as it applies to children. There will be a question and answer session to follow. The talk will take place in the Grade School building at Ashwood Waldorf School, 180 Park Street, Rockport, ME 04856. This Saturday, 4/6, there will be a screening of the Circus Smirkus documentary CIRCUS DREAMS at the Portland Children's Film Festival: http://www.portlandchildrensfilmfestival.com/circus-dreams
at the St. Lawrence Center at 1:00 pm. Smirkus Trouper Noah Nielsen will perform before the film starts. He is a fabulous diabo artist, unbelievable actually! Small Group Art Lessons by experienced art teacher from her private studio in Freeport.  April Art Block: Silk Screen Printmaking, Tuesdays from 5:30-7:00, April 2nd through 30th. Students will learn how to draw, create a stencil and print their own designs using silk screen techniques. Designs can be printed on fabric or paper. COST: $150. Registration and a deposit of half the course fee before March 22nd. Class size is limited to four students and home studio is located on Torrey Hill Range Road in Freeport.
