Village Harmony Concert: volunteers needed:
This year, members of the local singing group Zemya are helping to organize a Village Harmony concert at 7 pm on July 10th at the First Universalist Church, 97 Main St. Yarmouth, as part of their a New England tour.

We are looking for people to provide overnight accommodation on July 10th for singers (mostly teens, some adults) who are traveling with Village Harmony. We also need some help with a potluck dinner for the singers before the concert. Please e-mail me if you are interested in helping out, or call at 207-807-4707.

For those of you who are not familiar with Village Harmony, they are dedicated to teaching and promoting world music through singing workshops and camps here in the U.S. and abroad. The concert in Yarmouth is one stop on a New England tour done by the Teen Traveling Ensemble. They will be singing gospel, Balkan, Ukranian, Russian, and Georgian music. Put July 10th on your calendar and come hear some phenomenal music!!!
