Documentary Film, Bullied:
Save the evening of Friday, February 4, for viewing an excellent film called "Bullied." This film was produced by the Southern Poverty Law Center and is based on the true story of a young man who was bullied and beaten for being gay while he was in middle and high school. His public schools offered no protection or support. Eventually, he decided to take his case to court, and he won. You will be inspired by listening to this story. The film is appropriate for middle and high school students, as well as adults. Sponsored by the Denominational Connections Committee.
The location of the film showing is: First Universalist (Unitarian) Church, 97 Main Street, Yarmouth. I hope to announce the exact time in next week's Tuesday News. Submitted by Mariana Tupper.
