Merriconeag Summer Camps for 2012 - Sign up now!

This summer we will be offering two summer camps during the week of June 25 - 29, 9:00 a.m. - noon. If there is enough interest, we will consider offering an afternoon program like we did last year.

Big Oaks Out-Door Adventure Camp
Join us for our annual Out-Door Adventure Camps, that include daily hikes through our Community Trails to our local beach to Swim, Create Nature Crafts with Wool, Paint & Soil, Listen to Multicultural Stories from around world, Play fun Games & Eat Healthy Snacks all while making New Friends!
Dates: June 18-22 or June 25-29 2012
Welcome Ages from 3-13
9:00-1:00 BYO LUNCH
Cost: $165 per child for one week

Fun Summer Camp For Kids! The camp includes crafts, outdoor activities, and reading/story time. It is for children ages four to eight. The camp will be put on by Lia Wellen and Gemma McElroy, Merriconeag alumni who will be seniors at Freeport High School next fall.
To be held 8:30 am to 2:30pm:
July 2nd, 3rd, & 5th (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
July 9th, 10th, & 11th (Mon, Tues, Wed)
July 23rd, 24th, & 25th (Mon, Tues, Wed)
The cost is $90 per three-day week and the camp will take place on Hunter Road. Please call or email for more information or with any questions!

If you love to sew come join the STITCH BY STITCH Summer Camp with Regina Kusche:
August 13-17, 9.30-12.30, Age 9-12, $ 120 (materials included)
Every day we will create a small project using needle and thread, fabrics, buttons and beads. I was given the opportunity to host it at school but it is not a part of the Merriconeag Summer Camp program.

Fiber Arts Summer Camp for girls in grades 6,7, and 8. Come join us for a fun filled week of rug hooking, needle felting, swimming and farm fun. If you like spending time with friends in a relaxed and fun environment while creating original designs and learning new skills then this camp was made for you. Here's a comment from last year's amazing camp experience:"I can't remember my daughter being so effusive about a camp before. She could hardly wait to tell me about everything she had done and show me the things she made each day. She's still happily creating gifts for friends and even her little brother, You ladies outdid yourselves. Thank you!" We would love to have you come join us for another great week of fiber arts fun! The camp runs form August 13-17, Monday through Friday from 9 to 3. All materials for the week are included along with snacks and lots of fun! There's Still Time to sign up for one (or more) of 317 Main's one-week Summer Camps taking place between July 9 and August 3. The camps combine high-level instruction with a healthy dose of fun and lots of opportunity for group play. Students, ages 7-18, are grouped according to age and ability. Sessions: July 9 - 13, Fiddle Camp; (fiddle, viola, cello, and bass); July 16 - 20, Guitar/ Mandolin/ Banjo/ Bass Camp; and two Band Camps, July 23 - 27 and July 30 - Aug. 3 for all instruments including voice and piano.
