Welcome to our Family Programs
We believe that the parents and caregivers of children under three years old have one of the most important jobs in the world. So we offer programs to nurture and support those who care for babies and young children. In our Parent Infant and Parent Child classes, we explore parenting challenges and share ideas about how to create a home life that supports healthy and joyful growth. Classes meet weekly and are facilitated by a Waldorf-trained teacher.

Parent & Infant Classes
Together we will observe the infants as they explore their environment and gain physical abilities such as rolling, sitting, crawling and standing. Drawing on these observations, we will talk about how to best meet the needs of different developmental stages, and how to understand and enjoy the individuality of each child. We hope you will bring your questions and share your insights. For this class, we enroll parents with infants who have not begun walking, as well as expectant parents.
Parent & Infant Classes meet on Friday mornings from 10:30 – 12:00 noon and include a light snack for the adults.
Parent & Infant Class Schedule for 2014 - 15 Sessions:
Parent-Infant Class on Friday Mornings, 10:30 - 12:00 noon.
Session 1: September 12 - October 10
Session 2: October 24 - December 12 (No classes Oct 31 & Nov 28)
Cost: $75 for each of the two 5 week sessions (1 & 2)
Session 3: January 9 - February 13
Session 4: February 27 - April 10 (No class Mar 20)
Session 5: May 1 - June 5
Cost: $90 for each of the three 6 week sessions (3, 4, & 5)
Classes are enrolled on a first come, first served basis.

Donation at the door.
Dr. Susan Linn, Director of The Campaign for a Commercial-Free Childhood & Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School will discuss the commercialization of childhood and ways to protect our children.
